Import/Export Compliance Expert
Diane Divin was the Manager of Global Import/Export for the Mary Kay Corporation for almost 22 years. She structured Mary Kay Inc.’s global Import/Export compliance programs; designed the Import/Export training and audit procedures; initiated and managed the implementation of international trade software systems; managed the global import/export team, which oversees all imports/exports globally, from raw materials/ingredients to finished goods and from cosmetics to equipment and technology, between 40+ countries. This included compliance with corporate global IT international data centers, contract manufacturing across the globe, the movement of chemicals, ingredients, packaging and controlled equipment to subsidiaries, distributorships and multiple manufacturers around the globe.
She served on teams tasked with the opening of Mary Kay subsidiaries and the utilization of packaging and manufacturing in foreign countries. She researched international trade software systems, made the selection and created the ROI’s, launching 5 systems through the years.
Small And Medium Size Business History
Diane Divin worked with small and medium size companies for over 12 years with the International Trade Center in Dallas, Texas and the North Texas District Export Council which works directly with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Assistance Center (USEAC). She has served on the North Texas District Export Council’s board since 2004, on the executive committee since 2011, and is currently the Executive Chair.
